Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield, born 20th August 1983, is a native of Los Angeles, California. He is an American actor and a producer. The Social Network (2011), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 and Hacksaw Ridge (2016) were some of his most memorable performances. Garfield's professional career started in the theatre, and his first television performance in Sugar Rush in 2006 before making his film debut Mumbo Jumbo in 2007. In 2010, Garfield gained recognition for his performance in The Social Network. He then portrayed Spider-Man, the popular character, in the new film version directed by Marc Webb. Parents include American Richard Garfield, and British Lynn Hillman. He is the older brother of Ben. In his early years his family relocated the family into Surrey England. When he was a kid he attended acting classes and was involved in many school plays. At the Central School of Speech and Drama was where he started his professional career in the theater.
