Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch, born January 19, 1981 is an American actress. Her most famous roles were Lois Lane and Juliette Silverton/Eve on The CWArrowverse television shows such as Superman & Lois. Tulloch is a native of San Diego California and grew as a child in Spain Uruguay and Argentina. Tulloch goes by Bitsie and is not an abbreviation of her birth name Elizabeth however it is a tribute to her oddly-nicknamed grandfather a World War II bomber pilot who also was involved in the tragic 1961 Goldsboro B52 plane crash. As soon as Tulloch began acting she was known with the name Bitsie and continued to be until the year 2017 when she decided to switch her name to Elizabeth instead of explaining why she am still known as Bitsie. I continue to introduce myself as Bitsie when I meet people. I liked the name when I began acting during my early 20s. In my mid-thirties I was still feeling the need to revisit Elizabeth. This thought didn't occur to me until I started filming. It was Elizabeth when we filled on your legal papers. Is that the way you want billing? And I just thought about it, and then I phoned my agent and manager. They said That's definitely not the best suggestion. It's a bit older. Bitsie however, on contrary is a sweet and charming name. It's adorable. That's all that was said. This isn't like introducing myself as Elizabeth today. It will not stop there. Tulloch's ancestry is Scottish but with Spanish influences. Tulloch says her initial mother tongue was Spanish although she no longer believes she is fluent in Spanish. The paternal lineage of her grandmother's family comes from Renfrewshire while her grandfather's origins are around Kirkwall in Scotland. The woman told BBC News that the Tullochs came to the US around 1880 and they arrived with the Kerrs around 1900. The school she attended was middle as well as high school in Bedford, New York, after her return in the U.S. Tulloch is an Harvard University graduate with two specializations: English and American Literature and Environmental and Visual Studies.
