Laura Linney was one of the most renowned American actors to emerge from the past. Her powerful and flimsy roles have earned her a cult famous. In the summer, while working at the company of her father, Laura Linney became fascinated with theatre. Later in her time at Brown University she studied acting as well as at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. After just two short months after graduating she began her Broadway-based career. In the following year, she made her debut in the world of film and television. Since then she's been in many TV productions, films as well as stage productions. During her career she received several awards, among them her two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of the array of awards the theatre is still her primary passion and she is still appearing on screen and on stage.
