Katherine Heigl discusses how growing up living in a white bubble has impacted the way that she raised her adoptive multiracial family. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl admitted that she did not care about the color of her skin until she came across her adopted sister from South Korea. "I I asked my sister Meg to tell me if she'd received the same treatment while walking around with our parents and a different way in the time she was by herself without them. She said, 'Oh, yeah, all the times! Heigl told parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I made me feel." She became enraged by the incident, and decided to channel her anger into support her two adopted daughters. Heigl is with Josh Kelley for 13 years they have a son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl adopted in the year 2012.
